1/10 Bluemont

Saturday's club run on Woods Rd doesn't offer much of an opportunity for extending further unless you favor running along Evergreen Mill Rd. Something I wouldn't recommend. But Sunday's run is Bluemont which offers beautiful country roads and options for 7 or 9.3 miles. If you have a desire for multiple loops then plan to run early and time your run to meet the club at 8 for a second loop.

Where/When:

  • Sunday: Meet at the old country store at 6:45 a.m.

Directions to the Run:

  • Sunday: 7 west to Round Hill, enter downtown Round Hill. Left on to New Cut Road (will turn into Airmont Road).
Follow across Snickersville Turnpike, past the 1st Ebenezer Church rd. Right on to the 2nd Ebenezer Church road. Start at the Ebenezer cemetery.

I'll meet Allison and maybe

I'll meet Allison and maybe Casey at 6:45 tomorrow am.

Ok Jane....see you. The long

Ok Jane....see you. The long run post says at the old store....but I will be at the cemetery where the club run starts!

Sunday early loop?

Hey Allison - let me know if you still want to do two loops. I only want to do one....but would be glad to start at 6:45 so you have company for the first of your loops. Just let me know if you still plan on starting early. Tom, sorry to hear about your ankle...rest....ice...you know.

Change of plans

Alison, I won't be running tomorrow after all. I turned my ankle pretty good today running on the Appalachian trail and I need to give it a couple days of rest. I hope you won't be alone at 6:45 tomorrow.

Bear's Den - YEAH!!!

I will be at the commuter lot at 8:30 tomorrow.  Hope the wind dies down.

Long run starting in Leesburg Saturday morning?

According to my marathon training plan (which i must obey) I need to get a 16 mile run in.

I need to do it Saturday starting at 6:30 or 7 AM.

If anybody is interested in joining me please post and we can coordinate on a starting location and route

Bluemont

Two of the short loops sounds like a good plan to me. I'll be there at 6:45.

On Saturday I plan to go out to Bear's Den. It may be too icy to run but I'll walk where I have to. If anyone wants to join me I'll be in the parking lot off Rt 7 at 8:30

Sunday

I'll be there. Planning to do 2 loops of the short route.
