September 11 - Long Hamilton

How many times did you do that?

Nice to know that I can bend people to my will. Saturday's run is Hamilton so you can get 20 miles in the best weather we've had since Spring by running out and back from Loudoun County High School. The regular run will start at the Hamilton Elementary School on S Kerr St.

Meet at LCHS at 6 AM

May be at Paeonian Springs

I may meet you at 6:35 Heidi (but if I'm not there don't wait for me).

starting at 6 at LCHS

I will be starting at 6 at LCHS....hope to make it up Thomas Mill and on to the Hamilton run.

I'll be out there somewhere!

I am shooting for LCHS at 6, and winging it from there!

A Really Big Shoe....

(for those of you who were Ed Sullivan fans oh so many years ago!)

ATTENTION!  For the Saturday run in Hamilton.....  We are continuing the Shoe Drive for Ghana, and have also added a clothing/gear drive for Kenya.  So, if you have any running shoes that you're ready to retire, or if you have any gently used running togs or gear (i.e. water bottles, windbreakers, etc.), please bring them to the Hamilton run on Saturday.  I'll have a box there so you can just drop off at your leisure.

Thanks!

About 32.18 Clicks

is what I'm planning for Saturday, starting from LCHS ~6.  At this point it's a toss up between Thomas Mill/Digges Valley, etc or just out on the W&OD to Hamilton.  Have to see how the spirit moves in the morning.  Matt, you have my empathies.  Those muscle strains take time to heal.

A shorter option

Planning to start from Paeonian Springs (Simpson circle or LAWS Water stop area) about 6:35. I think it is about 2.5 miles from there to the start of the Hamilton Run. So, it should make this option 11-12 miles. I'll even have water there for anyone doing the full long run.

Water Saturday

I know I have been MIA all summer thanks to a muscle strain in my leg that (still) won't heal but just so people know the water will be out there Saturday at the normal places. Have a great run!

Matt
