September 5 - Philomont

I know that man has not 'really' stepped foot on the moon. Everyone knows those pictures were created in a Hollywood studio. And even though the National Weather Service created this image of Earl with Adobe Photoshop, it's still a cool image. What would happen if you were to drop a million tons of silly string into the eye of the beast? Would it drop into the ocean or be blasted all over the east coast? I'd love to know but I think we should wait till it's off the coast of New Jersey before we try.  Fortunately the Earl won't be disturbing our Labor day activities and cooler weather will arrive on Saturday. Sunday's run is Philomont and weather will be perfect for the Norm Loop. Don't forget the run and PARTY at Jane's on Monday. Last year we wiped out her stockpile of champagne so you can help her out this year by bringing some along to share. Champagne is very light and not filling so we need a lot.

Tuscarora alternative

Can't make it out to see Norm on Sunday, so currently plan to just do two loops at Tuscarora starting at 6 a.m.
